Settlements

Note

The Cadmus terminal will only accept one charge card settlement per settlement period.
Once a settlement has been performed, the terminal will not accept any further settlements until
the next settlement period is open. Settlement periods run from midnight to 23:30 hrs.
If no settlement is received within a settlement period, the system will perform a force settlement at 23:30 hrs.

Follow the steps below to settle charge card totals.

1. EFTPOS 2. Fuelcard

Press '2' for the Fuelcard application.

Press the 'Menu' key.

Select option 2 - Totals.

Settlement may be protected which means that the Merchant Card must be swiped before this function is able to be used.

Select option 1.

Option 2 will print a receipt with a total for the value of all charge card transactions for the previous settlement period.

Option 3 will print a receipt with a total for the value of all charge card transactions since the shift totals were last re-set.

Settle with BP Host? NO YES

Press the YES key to settle charge cards for this settlement period.

The receipt that is printed by the settlement process will display, for each card prefix, the total number of transactions for that prefix and the total value of those transactions.

If a settlement has already be done and the operator presses the 'YES' key to settle, the terminal will display a message saying that a settlement has already been done for the day.
