TransX runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and processes over a million transactions per month. Primary production equipment is located at BP's Head Office in Wellington and a Disaster Recovery system is maintained in hot standby mode at the Auckland Office. In the event of a outage in Wellington switch over to DR is automatic.

TransX is written in Java and SQL and runs on standard Linux and Windows servers. AS2805 messaging from the terminal network is received via both the X.25 network and a TCP/IP VPN network. Standard browser based user interfaces are provided internally to registered BP users.

Radium manages and maintains BP TransX including support for terminals and users.

Radium also developed the Fuelcard/Loyalty application running in Cadmus EFTPOS terminals at BP and GAS sites.
